Keep it dry 》In the first 24 hours after your treatment it’s super important to keep your lashes away from any water, steam, or sweat – that means no steam rooms, no swimming and no intense exercise, no makeup. So whatever you do, don’t get a lash lift on a spa day and be extra careful when booking your pre-holiday appointment!

Look, don’t touch 》Try not to rub your eyes or touch your lashes too much after your lift, as this can push them out of their picture perfect curl/placement. It’s also good to avoid sleeping on your side or on your face if you can, as this also changes their shape.

Brush baby, brush 》Brush your lashes daily to keep them looking fluffy and stop them getting tangled. Use supplied spoolie in this kit.

Hydrate 》Hydrate those lashes daily. Be sure to apply the Elleebana Elleeplex SPARINGLY for best results. This will extend the length of the lasting effects of the lash lift. Available from House of Glamour and you can purchase HERE.

For mascara lovers 》You can still wear mascara after your lift, just make sure you’re using a water-based formula and steer clear of waterproof mascara! Use oil free make-up remover to take it off, and gently pat your lashes dry afterwards.

PRE CARE TIPS

Exfoliate and Hydrate 》Prior to your spray tan appointment, exfoliate your skin to remove any dead cells. Focus on areas with rough skin, such as elbows, knees, and ankles. We highly recommend using our Tan Exfoliation Mitt which is amazing for your pre tan care regime and also amazing to use to remove old tan. Follow up with a hydrating lotion to create a smooth canvas for the tan.

Shave or Wax 24 Hours Before 》For the best results, shave or wax at least 24 hours before your spray tan session. This helps prevent any potential irritation and allows the skin to settle.

Avoid Moisturizers and Oils 》On the day of your spray tan, refrain from applying moisturizers, oils, or perfumes, as they can create a barrier on your skin and affect the tan's absorption.

Wear Loose, Dark Clothing 》Opt for loose, dark clothing to wear after your spray tan to avoid rubbing off the solution onto your clothes. Avoid tight straps or accessories that may cause lines on the tan.

Remove Makeup and Deodorant 》Remove all makeup and deodorant before your spray tan session. These can act as barriers, hindering the tan from developing evenly.

POST CARE TIPS

Wait Before Showering 》Wait the recommended time (usually 8-12 hours) before showering to allow the tan to fully develop. Follow the guidelines provided by your spray tan technician or product instructions.

Use a Gentle Body Wash 》When showering, use a mild, sulfate-free body wash. Avoid exfoliating products during the first few days, as they can speed up the tan's fading.

Pat Dry, Don't Rub 》After showering, pat your skin dry with a towel rather than rubbing. This helps to prolong the life of your tan.

Moisturize Daily 》Keep your skin hydrated by applying a fragrance-free, alcohol-free moisturizer daily. This helps maintain the tan and prevents it from fading unevenly.

Avoid Prolonged Water Exposure 》Minimize prolonged exposure to water, whether from swimming or long showers, as this can contribute to faster fading.

Avoid Sweating and Exercise 》Refrain from intense exercise and activities that may cause excessive sweating for the first 24 hours after your spray tan.

Extend with Gradual Tan Products 》To extend the life of your tan, consider using gradual tan products specifically formulated for maintaining spray tans.

Remember, following these pre and post-care tips ensures a longer-lasting and more even spray tan, leaving you with a beautiful, natural-looking glow.
